air flow
In order to maintain the purity of the air, the air in the white area of the clean-room is constantly filtered. The purity of the air (and in consequence the cost intensity) depends on the frequency with which the air is filtered and the type of air flow i.e. the way it enters and leaves the room. Two common types are laminar air flow and turbulent air flow.
