CIP System

Cleaning In Place system describes a cleaning system whereby the machine or systems are cleaned on the manufacturing line rather than dismantled and taken away for the purpose. This cleaning may be an automatic process or manual. Whatever the method, it must comply with the stringent hygiene regulations of the food or pharmaceutical industries.
