material transfer

The introduction of product components and other materials, e.g. cleaning products and equipment, into the clean-room is always associated with the risk of contamination. Particle control and, where relevant, measures for microbe control are always part of the process. The incoming transfer  is facilitated through materials airlocks where any packaging is removed. Procedures for inward and outward transfer of materials is defined in writing and consistently documented.
