particle concentration

Particle concentration is one of the main parameters in many clean rooms e.g. in the production of semiconductors. The particle count according to particle size per m³ is measured under "at rest" and "in operation" conditions. According to the international norm ISO 14644 there are 9 classes of clean-room classification according to particle concentration. The smaller the class number, the lower the particle concentration.
