Yield

As a percent, yield is an expression of production efficiency. In semiconductor production, yield refers to the proportion of devices produced which function correctly. In th pharmaceutical industry, it refers to the quantity of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient produced from the components consumed after loss or error in actual production.
